The Public Relations Sub-Committee facilitates communication between Narcotics Anonymous and the outside world. Some of the responsibilities of PR include:
- Running the HelpLine 502-499-4423
- Providing information and a point of contact to treatment professionals
- Maintaining the area Meeting Directory
- Distribution of the Directory, flyers, and other advertising
- Maintaining this website
Interaction with limited-access facilities, such as correctional institutions and in-patient treatment facilities, is handled by a special Area sub-committee, Hospitals and Institutions.
